I am an enthusiastic scuba diver and underwater photographer! I became interested in underwater photography because I was so excited to discover the wonderful world of underwater creatures, I wanted to share my discoveries with all my friends. As my skills have evolved and I have discovered my own style, my desire to share my images has increased. Now I travel throughout the world seeking images of unusual and beautiful marine life for my own enjoyment, and yours. I hope you will enjoy browsing through my galleries.
I am an ALPHA Shooter for SEA & SEA Underwater Imaging company working to promote Sea & Sea underwater photography equipment. I use a Nikon D810 and D7000 camera housed in a Sea & Sea MDX810 and MDX7000 housing respectively. I use two Sea & Sea YS-D1 strobes for most of my lighting. In addition, I work as a professional PADI scuba diving instructor, certifying students in open water all the way through divemaster classes, including specialties in Digital Underwater Photography, and more. I also teach more advanced private and group lessons in underwater photography both "on site" and in a classroom setting. If you are interested in learning more about underwater photography, please contact me for more information.
For the casual observer and amateur photographer, I publish a blog on underwater photography, tips and tricks for better underwater images, and my observations of the beautiful and sometimes strange aquatic world. Please visit www.waterdogphotographyblog.com and take a look!
My work has been published in California Diver, California Diving News, Dive News Network, Scuba & H20 Adventure, Dive Photo Guide and Underwater Photography Magazine. All of my images are copyright protected. If you are interested in using any of my images, please use the contact form to make inquiries, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
